I was going to post my thoughts on the book, but after reading like, two posts on the subject, I'm spent. I liked it. I don't feel like cutting for spoilers so I'm just not going to say anything past that.

Thank you, Char!!! ♥ Even though I caved and am reading it online (because [info]jateshi is EVIL and kept enticing and taunting me until I wibbled out of control), I cannot wait for the book. I am going to curl up on my bed and re-read it, take more of it in.

Do you have a direct line to JK Rowling's brain??? I swear, when I was reading the chapter on the "Unbreakable Vow" it was like reading a section of "Poses". You're good, you're real good! ;)

Also, yes, IIIIICK! Dememtors having sex. That is just gross! LOL

I'm in a quandry about Snape. I know that he killed Dumbledore, but it was like Dumbledore was asking him to. Plus, D. knew about the unbreakable vow with Narcissa. So, I don't know if Snape is truely bad or truely good. Guess we will find out in the final book. I saw the Harry/Ginny thing all the way back in the second book, but I was a little perturbed that he broke up with her in the last chapter. I can see his reasons for doing it, but still... Anyway, was wondering what your thoughts on this was. And, HELLO??? Did you see Tonks/Lupin??? I didn't.

I can see it both ways on Snape. It would almost be trite at this point to do the whole "Everyone thinks Snape is bad, but he's good" thing again. But I'm not sure if some people, aka Harry, could forgive him for killing him whether he did it with permission or not, you know? I wonder why Dumbledore told no one why he trusted Snape completely. Did he commit to an Unbreakable vow with Dumbledore to do whatever he said? Draco's pretty screwed. Harry sees that. I wondered how, if Snape is just going really deep undercover, he would get info to people... well... Harry feels pity for Draco. He might well take info from him? And we know that Draco's now an Occlumens thanks to Bellatrix.

I'd kind of hoped there would be some Harry/Luna, but yeah, H/G was pretty obvious. At least it didn't go on for long, because it was kind of... bleh. That whole monster in his chest thing? HAHAHAHA wtf, leave romance to the fanfic'ers, man. That was sad. he just... doesn't really have time for loads of romance, you know? It was such the relationship in summary. I was glad of it. Although why he thinks dumping her will keep her from being used against him is beyond me. Harry would go out on a limb to save nearly anyone. It's how he is. But if he's not coming back to school and he doesn't want Ginny to follow him... better to break up. He can come back to it.

I thought Remus/Tonks was cute in idea, but I didn't expect to see it in canon. The implementation of it in canon was actually pretty lame. She's an Auror, but she falls to pieces because Remus won't date her? It just seemed... well... shouldn't she be more capable than that? I an understand some depression, but she was practically Merope about it. I don't know. I thought better of Tonks than that.

I know! EW! I don't know how they're making more, but i have this unpleasant visual of their big gaping mouthes and some sort of icky dementor 69. Ack!

*hugs* It's ok. I was at a loss for words, too. There's reallly nothing anyone can say that makes it better. That's probably why I don't talk about things much.
